Step 1 – Choose a Reputable Exchange
Litecoin is also listed on nearly all major cryptocurrency exchanges. So here are the key criteria for casino players to consider:
- Low withdrawal fees: You’ll need to withdraw LTC to your personal wallet. Getting the best deal on withdrawal fees means that you get to keep more of your LTC.
- Fast fiat deposit: Rapid transfer of fiat currency — deposit and start playing instantly with bank transfer or card.
- No casino blocks: Some exchanges will flag transactions to crypto casinos. Be cautious of exchanges that will block or suspend withdrawals for these types of transactions.
| Exchange | LTC Withdrawal Fee | Fiat Deposit Method | Availability |
|---|---|---|---|
| Kraken | 0.01 LTC | Bank transfer, card | UK, EU, Global |
| Binance | ~0.001 LTC | Card, P2P, bank | Global (restrictions vary) |
| Coinbase | Variable (network fee) | Card, bank transfer | UK, EU, US |
| Bitpanda | ~0.01 LTC | SEPA, card | EU focused |
| Bybit | 0.001 LTC | Card, P2P | Global |

Step 2 – Create and Verify Your Account
All regulated exchanges require KYC (Know Your Customer) verification. Below is a list of required documents you should have ready:
- Government-issued photo ID (passport or driver’s licence)
- Proof of address (bank statement or utility bill dated within 3 months)
- A selfie or liveness check (most platforms use automated systems)
Verification times vary depending on the exchange, but generally take from a few minutes to a full day. During business hours, times for verification at exchanges such as Kraken and Coinbase are often the shortest.
Step 3 – Buy Litecoin
When your account has been verified you can fund your exchange account and buy your first LTC in 3 easy steps.
Deposit fiat to the exchange
You can use a bank transfer (which will be the cheapest, but slowest option) or a debit card (which will be faster, but with higher fees – approximately 1.5%). Credit cards should also be avoided here, as it’s likely that the bank that you use to deposit the fiat will class the transaction as a cash advance and bill you a corresponding fee.
Navigate to the LTC/EUR or LTC/GBP market
To find LTC, search for “LTC” or “Litecoin” in the search bar of the interface provided by the exchange. For a simple one-off purchase we recommend using the Buy/Sell or Convert function, rather than using the trading view.
Enter the amount and confirm
Please enter the fiat amount you wish to spend and confirm exchange rate and fee. The LTC will be deposited into your exchange wallet. Do not deposit here, proceed to Step 4 instead.
Step 4 – Transfer LTC to Your Personal Wallet
DO NOT DEPOSIT FROM AN EXCHANGE TO A CASINO DIRECTLY. Exchanges have begun to flag gambling site addresses and deposits will be either refused or reversed by them. Moving your coins to a personal wallet for a few minutes avoids this risk.
Recommended Free LTC Wallets
- Exodus — Excellent desktop and mobile UI with feature rich wallet to store 200+ crypto assets. Best all around solution for users starting out.

How to Withdraw from Your Exchange
Copy your LTC receiving address from your wallet
Launch your wallet app and navigate to the Receive Litecoin page. Click on the Copy full address button. One typo and your funds are gone.
Go to Withdraw → Litecoin on the exchange
Copy and paste your Litecoin wallet address into the recipient field. Verify the first 4 and last 4 characters of the wallet address before submitting the withdrawal request.
Enter amount, confirm via 2FA, and wait
The withdrawal fee will appear in the confirmation dialog. Accept and approve via your authenticator app. Then wait 5–20 minutes. Once the blockchain transaction is confirmed by miners, the LTC will land in your personal wallet.

Frequently Asked Questions
If your exchange account is already verified the process from buying cryptocurrency to making a casino deposit will not take longer than 30 minutes. New account creations with KYC will take anywhere between 10 minutes up to 24 hours depending on the conditions of the specific cryptocurrency exchange and time of day.
Most of the major online casinos accept credit cards. Unfortunately, in some cases the bank that issued your card may choose to consider the transaction as a cash withdrawal and add an extra cash advance fee. To avoid extra charges, debit cards and bank transfers are still generally considered to be the best way to fund your online casino account.
We highly recommend using a personal wallet as an intermediate step to avoid run ins with terms of service that ban gambling withdrawals. Exchanges have had to implement automated blocks on addresses that appear to be involved in gambling. Using a personal wallet such as Exodus or Atomic Wallet usually only takes about 10 minutes extra of your time.
Most exchanges let you buy fractional LTC with a minimum fiat amount, usually in the $10–$20 range. Most casinos have a minimum deposit in the range of 0.01–0.1 LTC.
For casino use, yes. LTC has a 2.5-minute block time (vs 10 minutes for Bitcoin), lower network fees, and is supported at all major crypto casinos. See our full LTC vs Bitcoin casino comparison for more.
